Distributed generation – the future of national water preservation

On March 28th of 2017 RTSoft took part in the first maritime Ecological Forum, organized by  the National Fleet Support Organization and the Federal Agency of marine and inland water transport.

Representatives of the government, businesses, marine and inland water fleets and non-commercial organizations came together to discuss the modern challenges of water preservation in Russia as well as problems of a balanced maritime structure development. The discussion helped to create general recommendations for ecological preservation of the national seas, rivers, lakes and adjacent territories. A special focus was made on power energy projects within the framework of navigation and fishing needs and their compliance with modern international ecological requirements.

During the forum RTSoft experts presented AMIGO: their innovative solution for distributed generation management. The solution is based on the most advanced renewables (solar energy, wind energy, biogas and geothermal generation) management technologies. AMIGO provides coordinated distributed generation and operation mode management, local volt/var controls. This solution increases power quality and reliability as well as grid resiliency and allows to maximize the potential of green energy.

The official forum motto reads: “United, let us preserve the seas, rivers and lakes in Russia and worldwide”. It is truly in line with RTSoft corporate policies, which declare high level of involvement into R&D studies concerning ecology and responsible economic growth.
