Perspective solutions of RTSoft presented at the Relay Protection-2017 international exhibition

RTSoft took part in an international exhibition “Relay protection for energy needs - 2017”, which was held on April 25-28 in Saint Petersburg. The company presented its innovative solutions for relay protection automation.

This year RTSoft focused on its software complex PF.Protection – a solution designed for relay protection automation for the energy sector. The company stand incorporated a model of the software complex, where visitors could learn more about the system’s functionality and see the benefit of its implementation. PF.Protection allows to reduce connection failures by eliminating errors in relay protection settings selection and complex verification of operation parameters for a given power district. The system uses the best automation technologies, which reduces costs of relay protection services.

PF.Protection is currently installed and is being tested in SO UPS affiliates in central Russia and is also used by RusHydro, PAO.

PF.Protection can be aligned with other products and software & hardware complexes produced by RTSoft (e.g. SSNTI and SmartServer) to work effectively in the domain of automated relay protection monitoring for energy needs. This integrated complex will allow to create an extensive database and  provide maintenance for relay protection devices based on their factual condition.

Implementation of this complex will allow energy companies to reduce expenses because of extended maintenance cycle  and elimination of interim examinations. It is also able to locate hidden mistakes in devices settings and configuration in advance, before they cause malfunction in relay protection.

Within the framework of the exhibition leading experts of RTSoft presented reports focusing on development  of relay protection settings selection automation functionality, relay protection operation analytics, cybersecurity.

Company experts held a number of meetings with potential partners, during which they discussed possibilities of fast implementation of test projects as well as educational seminars in order to provide clients with a more in-depth of how PF.Protection works.
