RTSOFT AUTOMATES NEW DIGITAL SUBSTATION IN ST. PETERSBURG

At the end of 2020, the 110 kV Karpovskaya digital substation was put into operation in St. Petersburg. The digital substation control system is built on the basis of RTSoft equipment.

PJSC ROSSETI put into commercial operation a new power facility in St. Petersburg: a 110 kV digital substation Karpovskaya before the New year. The project was carried out as part of the modernization of the power supply system of the city's districts. The substation will increase the reliability and quality of electricity supply to more than 130,000 residents. In addition, it is designed with a double capacity reserve – in the future, this will provide electricity to the facilities of the Petrogradsky District and Petrovsky Island, where housing and road construction is actively underway.

The up-to-date reliable equipment has been introduced at the 110 kV Karpovskaya substation, which makes it possible to ensure 100% observability of the power facility, conduct remote control, carry out automated electricity metering and perform other functions in digital and automatic modes.

In particular, the SCADA system of the substation is built on the basis of the SMART-SPRECON software and hardware complex developed by RTSoft- an advanced solution with functionality for creating complex multifunctional automation systems. SMART-SPRECON system meets all modern requirements of customers, primarily PJSC FGC UES and PJSC ROSSETI. The complex is certified by the FSTEC of Russia, all its components are developed or adapted for use in Russia.
