RTSoft takes an active part in the opening of the Intels laboratory "Internet of Things (IoT)

On June 30 IoT Laboratory Ignition Lab was opened in Moscow. RTSoft presented solutions for transportation and energy industries.

Intel - iotThe latest developments by Intel and its Russian partners, working for both businesses and end users, were demonstrated in this laboratory. Among them there were the solutions for "smart cities", "smart advertising" and "smart security" with the possibility of remote control through the Web. Moscow IoT laboratory Ignition Lab will allow anyone to see the technological solutions of the future and make the first steps to bring their own products to the market.

RTSoft as a longtime partner of Intel, introduced its perspective IoT-5 solutions for the transportation and electricity sectors, which allow to receive and analyze data from all over the world in real time. Among them there is a system of power quality monitoring and control "Harmonica" and hardware-software complex for monitoring of mobile objects through the use of cellular and satellite communication channels "Montrek". This complex is unique. It operates efficiently and economically in conditions with limited access to the Internet and "hard" environment. It is based on the latest RTSoft’s developments - software and high-performance industrial computers BLOK and Kena.

In their reports RTSoft leading experts spoke about the peculiarities and prospects of the IoT market in Russia. "With the development of the Internet and wireless technology, we have received communication at any time, smart phones and tablets allowed to implement the principle of communication in any place. IoT adds a new dimension and a third degree of freedom in space communications - "communication with any entity", be it computers, people or devices. Another fundamentally new phenomenon is "independent" exchange of data or information between devices of different types ", - noted in his report Pavel Litvinov, head of RTSoft analytical department.

Recall that in December 2014 RTSoft together with Intel opened an IoT laboratory in the RTSoft Engineering Building. Such laboratories reflect the trend of the IoT market rapid development: its volume, according to IDC, will increase by 19% just this year, and by 2020 it will exceed $ 3 trillion.
